Prolong the life of your print deck absorbents

The more you print, some tiny particles of paper dust can accumulate on the absorbents on your print deck. Over time, they can get packed into the absorbing material and then the absorbent will lose some capacity to absorb, and will need to be replaced. One way to prolong the life of your aborbents is to rinse them upside down. This helps to rinse out the paper dust and prevent it from permanently setting into the absorber material.

The absorbents should be removed and rinsed at the end of each day, and the printing deck cleaned as well. Once they are rinsed and the deck is clean, put them on a lint-free cloth to absorb the excess water, then place them back into the print deck. Then you are ready for the next printing day where you can print the best quality in the industry!
