Photo retailers have access to round the clock, on the go sales with the next generation of Lucidiom’s iPhone application, Pocket Pics. Pocket Pics is being demonstrated in the Noritsu-Lucidiom booth (3140) at the Photo Marketing Association Show (PMA) 2010, which runs through February 23 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Lucidiom’s Pocket Pics, available free on Apple’s iTunes Store, unlocks social networking’s profit potential by allowing Photo Finale users to not only synchronize online photo accounts with their iPhones, but place orders with their retailer with the “Buy Prints” button. With Pocket Pics, when a Photo Finale account holder adds pictures to her online collection, the iPhone will automatically display the new pictures in Pocket Pics. Photo Finale is Lucidiom’s award-winning, white-label website, which allows retailers to promote their own brand.
“Technology has made so much possible when it comes to sharing content and staying connected, but the challenge for retailers has been finding ways to profit from the social revolution; enter Lucidiom Pocket Pics 2.0,” said Lucidiom CTO Jason Pareti. “We’ve created an app for the 60 million iPhones out there that unlocks the sales potential of social networking. Pockets Pics alerts subscribers whenever new photos have been added to a collection, which automatically increases the retailer’s sales potential.”
Lucidiom Pocket Pics is available today to Photo Finale account holders and can be downloaded for free by consumers through Apple's iPhone App Store in iTunes. The app is compatible with firmware versions 3.0 and higher on the iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch devices. Pocket Pics version 2.0 will be available in late spring 2010.
